The Eastern Iowa Airport (IATA: CID, ICAO: KCID) is a commercial airport operation on the territory of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The airport covers approximately 1.331 hectares and is located two miles west of Interstate 380. The Cedar Rapids airport has two asphalt runways 2.622 meters and 1890 meters relatively. The runway 9/27 was closed for reconstruction on July 18, 2010, and was reopened later on September 23. Meanwhile, the temporary runways were built to replace the closed one. The operation of that runway (13/31) had lasted for only four weeks and was closed when the reconstruction of the runway 9/27 was finished.

The Eastern Iowa Airport (IATA: CID, ICAO: KCID) also known as Cedar Rapids Airport is the second commercial airport built in Cedar Rapids. The first Cedar Rapids' airport, the Hunter Field, was established in the 1920s by Dan Hunter on Bowling Street. The airfield was serving pilot training, private charter flights, and airmail that was not available during the bad weather.
